Built To Perform

The S-Cross Hybrid engine is a Self-charging engine meaning there is no need for charging points. There is a Lithium-Ion battery that is charged from energy that is usually lost during deceleration and braking. This battery works during the following phases; Electric motor restarts the petrol engine (after engine auto stop), Electric motor assists the petrol engine during acceleration, Electric motor idles the engine and stops fuel injection during low speed deceleration. It helps reduce the CO2 emmisions and improve fuel efficiency (compared to the equivalent outgoing model). The Electric motor also increases engine responsiveness. All of this gives you a great driving experience, whilst getting a few more miles in the tank. With ALLGRIP Select 4-wheel drive*, you can take control of the road, wherever it takes you next.

Suzuki have now launched the 1.5 litre engine with 140V Hybrid in the Scross Motion and Ultra. 

Fitted with Suzuki's latest technology AGS (Auto Gear Shift) automated manual transmission as standard. The higher powered Suzuki Hybrid system consists of a 140V lithium-ion battery and inverter, Motor Generator (known as MGU), a 12V lithium-ion battery as well as a conventional 12V lead-acid battery to power components requiring lower voltage such as lights, instruments and heating / air conditioning. 

The Full Hybrid system has two switchable modes which are Eco and Standard. One switch enables the driver to change between the modes depending on conditions and also increases the frequency of EV driving. In Standard mode operation, the MGU more frequently assists the petrol engine to allow more spirited driving enjoyment.
Suzuki Connect 

Suzuki has now introduced Suzuki COnnect in the UK. Suzuki Connect utilises the vehicle's data communication module to connect users to their vehicles in real time, enabling owners to take advantage of convenient functions via the Suzuki connect smartphone app. 

By connecting the vehicle via the Suzuki Sonnect ap, available on Android and iOS, users can access a wide range of convenient connected services, including the ability to monitor and receive notifications about the status of their vehicle in real time, remotely lock the vehicle, and view information such as driving history and the location of their parked car. 
Users can also choose to receive maintenance related information and warning light notifications via the Suzuki Connect app.
