City and motorways
With the switch in its 2WD position, drive is only transmitted to the front wheels for fuel efficient everyday journeys.
Dirt tracks and wet roads
With the switch in its AUTO position, drive is normally transmitted to the front wheels but when there is less grip the system goes 4X4, disturbing power between the front and rear axles- wherever it's needed most.
Mud, sand and snow
In the lock position drive is permanently distributed "50/50" between the front and rear axles, bringing you safe and secure starts in extreme conditions. The system remains engaged until your speed reached 37mph, at which point Auto mode engages automatically
